The Santa Fe International Folk Art Market returns for its 7th year to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The world's largest international folk art market brings together artists and artisans from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.

For the first time, Cuban artists will be represented at the market. The Cuban art booth at the Market will feature six artists whose work showcases the Cuban 'naive' painting tradition, including genre painting of traditional Cuban scenes and images from the Cuban Santerķa religion.

In a special pre-market event, Nicholas Kristof, NYTimes columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, will share stories of his travels in Africa and Asia and his advocacy for women throughout the world.
